A bank account is a financial account maintained by a bank or other financial institution in which the financial transactions between the bank and a customer are recorded

An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but we pay it anyway.

We can cover your overdrafts in two different ways:

  • We have standard overdraft practices that come with your account.
  • We also offer overdraft protection plans, such as a link to another account or a line of credit, which may be less costly than our standard overdraft practices. To learn more, ask us about these plans.

You need your full account number, social security number and email address. Go to www.andover.bank > Account > Register ... and follow the prompts.

Any check drawn from a U.S. financial institution can be deposited. The following items cannot be deposited:

  • Insurance Checks
  • International Checks
  • Postal Money Orders
  • Travelers Cheques
  • U.S. Savings Bonds
  • U.S. Treasury Checks
